Frequently asked questions
How fast do I get my codes?
Right after your payment is confirmed – usually within a minute or two – by email. They are also always in your account.
Where can I use the codes?
For unbranded products on Google Shopping, eBay, Amazon (generic listings), in your webshop and with a barcode scanner in your shop. Selling under your own brand? Amazon then needs GS1 codes, a GTIN exemption or Brand Registry, and bol.com needs GS1. Supermarkets and retail chains always ask for GS1.
How is this different from GS1?
GS1 gives companies their own number range for a yearly membership fee. Our codes are valid EAN-13 numbers without membership or yearly costs. Some retailers require GS1 membership.
How many codes do I need?
One per product variant. A T-shirt in 3 sizes and 2 colours needs 6 codes.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, every order comes with a VAT invoice in your account. Ordering for a business? Add your company name and VAT number at checkout.
What if a code doesn’t work?
Contact us. If a platform refuses a code, send us a screenshot of their message and we will send new codes or refund you (see our terms).
